Abu Dhabi Based Food Delivery Application Testing

Overview

A food delivery service based in Abu Dhabi was growing quickly and spreading to more parts of the UAE. But as they got bigger, things started to get harder for them. Things weren’t going as smoothly as they used to. Users were angry about crashes and errors, bugs were getting through, and the app was having trouble keeping up with new requests.

At that point, the business got in touch with Testvox. We came in and helped make the testing process more efficient. We made sure the app could grow while keeping things running smoothly and reliably. We made sure that the platform could handle the growing traffic without affecting user experience or functionality by doing a thorough QA check.

Problems

Before Testvox joined, the food delivery platform had a few big problems that were slowing things down:

  • No QA team that works on its own. The company didn't have a QA team on staff to handle the growing number of features and testing needs. This caused delays and made it easy to miss important bugs.
  • A tough system The app wasn't just for customers; it also had a POS system for vendors and an admin dashboard. It was hard to keep up with all of this, but each one needed to be tested thoroughly.
  • Bugs in the User Experience There were problems with logging in, navigating the site, and tracking orders. Users were getting frustrated and complaining about these kinds of problems, which made people less happy overall.
  • Links to services offered by other companies The platform had to be able to work with payment and delivery services that weren't its own. These integrations had to work perfectly for everything to run smoothly.

We Did

Testvox made a custom testing plan to solve each of these issues:

  1. 1. Testing the customer experience in detail
  2. We tried out every part of the user journey, from searching for restaurants to placing orders and keeping track of deliveries. We made sure that every interaction went well so that users wouldn't get upset and would come back to the app to place more orders.

  3. 2. Looking at the vendor's point-of-sale system
  4. We tested out the app's vendor side. We made it easy for restaurant partners to get orders, change their statuses, and keep track of their progress. We worked closely with the development team to make sure that everything was in sync at all times.

  5. 3. Testing the Admin Module
  6. The admin interface had to be simple to use and work well. We made sure that everything, from managing users to tracking and reporting orders, worked perfectly. This meant that the platform could run smoothly on the backend.

  7. 4. Looking for and fixing bugs
  8. We found some big problems, like not being able to log into Google accounts, enter locations on iOS devices, and keep track of deliveries. We told the development team what we found and helped them fix the problems before they could hurt real people.

Result

1. Users will have a better experience

After fixing the most important bugs, users had a better, more reliable experience. The app worked much better. Users no longer had to deal with crashes, bugs, or annoying mistakes when they tried to place an order or track a delivery.

2. Testing is 5 times faster

By using a structured approach to testing, we were able to speed up the platform's testing process by five times. This gave the team the confidence to release updates more quickly, knowing that all the big problems had been fixed.

3. More stability and efficiency

The platform could run at scale without any problems because everything was working well. Restaurant partners and admins could easily handle orders, which made communication better and sped up the delivery process.

Final Thoughts

Partnering with Testvox allowed the Abu Dhabi-based food delivery app to address its testing challenges and scale efficiently. We helped the company grow without sacrificing quality by making the QA process easier, fixing bugs, and making sure the app could handle more users and more complex tasks. In the end, the platform’s users got a much better experience, one that was smooth, fast, and bug-free, and the company was able to expand its reach with confidence. We are proud to have played a part in their success.
