Testvox partnered with Edges-ERP to build a structured functional testing program, combining requirement analysis, coordinated execution, and integration-focused validation:
- Requirement Analysis
Reviewed Edges-ERP's business requirements, process documents, and operational expectations to build a clear picture of intended behavior across all three modules before writing a single test case.
- Test Checklist Preparation
Built detailed functional checklists covering core workflows, module-level validations, integration touchpoints, and end-to-end transaction scenarios, rather than testing modules in isolation.
- Functional Test Execution
Executed 2,017 test cases across Accounts, Inventory, and POS, validating business logic, workflow accuracy, and day-to-day operational behavior in the QA environment.
- Integration Testing
Validated the handoffs between modules — for example, whether a POS sale correctly reflected in Inventory stock levels and posted accurately to Accounts — since these cross-module flows are where ERP systems most often break silently.
- Defect Reporting
Logged and categorized every defect by severity and business impact, with reproduction steps and execution evidence, so the Edges-ERP team could triage fixes by real operational risk.
- Workflow Validation
Partnered directly with the client's ERP Consultant to confirm that tested workflows matched actual intended business processes, not just documented specs.
